Business Development

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, customer referrals, and partnerships with overseas agents and freight forwarding networks
• Develop and expand the overseas agent network to generate inbound and outbound shipment opportunities and grow the company's international freight forwarding business.
• Actively develop freehand business by identifying potential customers, overseas agents, and shipment opportunities, managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting and quotation to negotiation, closing, and account management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Provide tailored logistics solutions to clients, including:
• -- International freight services with a focus on ocean freight (FCL/LCL) and air freight solutions.
• -- Value-added services such as customs clearance procedures, trucking, and other logistics-related services.
• Coordinate with overseas agents, carriers, and internal departments to ensure smooth shipment execution and customer satisfaction.
• Negotiate freight rates and commercial terms with customers, overseas agents, and service providers.
• Prepare and submit reports on sales progress and customer interactions on a weekly, and monthly basis.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields.
• 2-3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or a related industry.
• Proven experience in developing freehand business, acquiring new customers, and managing overseas agent/network accounts.
• Good understanding of international freight forwarding services, commercial practices, and shipping processes.
• Candidates with hands-on experience in ocean freight (FCL/LCL) or shipping line are highly preferred. Candidates with prior experience working for a shipping line will be given preference.
• An existing portfolio of customers, overseas agents, or industry contacts is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
