Category Manager - Chinese Speaking

🎯 Objective

         Lead category management and strategic sourcing activities by leveraging data analysis to optimize procurement strategies, supplier performance, and cost efficiency.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

1. Category Management

• Develop, maintain, and update category portfolios
• Analyze supply markets and build procurement strategies

2. Strategic Sourcing

• Identify and develop qualified suppliers through benchmarking
• Establish centralized & decentralized sourcing strategies

3. Supplier Management

• Conduct supplier capability assessments (TQDRCE)
• Manage supplier lifecycle and performance

4. Contract & Negotiation

• Lead commercial negotiations and contract signing
• Manage supplier relationships and agreements

5. Others

• Contribute to knowledge sharing and process improvement
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned

• Chinese speaking, reading is preferred;
• Can do the job by him/herself;
• Experience in electrical equipment or EPC is a plus, including components, switchgear, high voltage product is preferred;
• Or has experience with material (copper, steel) and others;
• Target segement: big manufactuering/factory, procurement in big EPC or M&E contractor;
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related fields
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement/category management
• Strong negotiation & analytical skills
• Fluent in English
• Proficient in MS Office; Power BI/SQL/Tableau is an advantage
• Experience with SRM/OA systems preferred
• Willing to travel when required
