CNC PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

JOB PURPOSE:

• Responsible for managing and supervising CNC production activities to ensure production quality, machine performance, productivity, and on-time completion.
• The position oversees CNC leader and operators, monitors machining processes, ensures correct machine and tooling setup, and works closely with CNC Engineers and relevant departments to resolve technical issues and complete molds and precision components.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Plan, manage, and monitor daily CNC production activities to ensure quality, productivity, and production schedules are achieved.
• Monitor production progress and machine loading to ensure machining activities are completed according to plan.
• Ensure CNC machines operate efficiently and minimize downtime, idle time, and production interruptions.
• Monitor machining processes and identify potential issues affecting quality, cycle time, productivity, or delivery.
• Supervise and provide technical support for CNC operations, ensure machine parameters are correctly set according to technical documents, drawings, machining programs, and process requirements.
• Utilize programs to review, verify, and support the development or modification.
• Identify potential programming or machining issues before production and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Ensure machining programs are properly validated, parameters, work offsets, tool offsets, fixtures, and cutting tools before machining.
• Monitor employee performance, productivity, work quality, attendance, and compliance with production requirements.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards within the CNC production area.

• Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive, or a related field.
• 5+ years of CNC machining experience, including experience in a supervisory or team-lead role.
• Strong hands-on experience in 5-axis CNC milling is required.
• Proficiency in Mastercam for CNC programming, toolpath review, or program optimization.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Basic knowledge of dimensional measurement and inspection methods.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Ability to work under production pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Good command of English speaking is advantage.
