Credit Card Product Development Supervisor

Product Development

• Supervise the end-to-end development of new card products and enhancements to existing products.
• Conduct market research, customer analysis, and competitor benchmarking to identify product opportunities.
• Develop product business cases, pricing strategies, and value propositions.
• Define product features, customer journeys, and product specifications.

Project Management

• Lead cross-functional product development projects from concept through launch.
• Coordinate with IT, operations, risk, compliance, finance, marketing, and vendors.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.

Product Lifecycle Management

• Monitor product performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Recommend product improvements based on customer feedback and business performance.
• Manage product enhancements and periodic reviews.
• Support product retirement or migration initiatives when required.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure card products comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Coordinate with legal, compliance, and risk management teams during product development.
• Ensure appropriate controls are incorporated into product design.

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

• Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, risk, operations, IT, and sales teams  

• Coordinate project execution and ensure alignment with business goals  

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

• 5–8 years of experience in banking, cards, payments, or financial services.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Experience in card product development, product management, or payment solutions.

Technical Knowledge

• Credit card, debit card, and prepaid card products.
• Card payment ecosystems (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, JCB).
• Product development lifecycle.
• Digital banking and payment technologies.
• Regulatory and compliance requirements for card products.
• Project management methodologies.
