CSA Engineer (Civil, Structural & Architectural)

About the Role

We are seeking a CSA Engineer to support building and industrial projects by conducting site inspections and supervising Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) works. The role is responsible for ensuring construction activities comply with approved designs, specifications, QA/QC requirements and project standards while supporting safe and effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and supervision of civil, structural and architectural works, including earthworks, concrete, steel structures, façade/building envelope and finishing works.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs and inspection checklists to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor construction progress, identify quality concerns and potential delays, and coordinate corrective actions with contractors and stakeholders.
• Coordinate inspection plans, witness inspections, material deliveries and construction activities to support project execution.
• Review and maintain project documentation, including inspection reports, material approvals, test results, NCRs, punch lists and as-built records.
• Identify, report and follow up on non-conformances and quality issues until closure.
• Prepare daily, weekly and inspection reports, maintain photographic records, and collaborate closely with clients, consultants, contractors and project teams.
• Support compliance with HSE requirements and uphold SGS standards of integrity, quality and professional independence.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction supervision, QA/QC or site engineering for industrial or building projects.
• Practical knowledge of civil works, structural concrete, steel structures, architectural finishing and project handover activities.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, Vietnamese construction standards, ITPs, method statements and site documentation.
• Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors in a project environment.
• Good report writing and communication skills in Vietnamese; English communication is an advantage.
• Construction supervision certificates, QA/QC training, HSE training, or experience with AutoCAD, Revit and Bluebeam are preferred.
