Customs Specialist - Certificate of Origin (CO)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customs Specialist - CO to manage and coordinate all matters related to Certificates of Origin (CO) for our finished goods export operations. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with relevant trade agreements and customs regulations, as well as timely and accurate documentation to support smooth cross-border transactions.

• Prepare, verify, and submit Certificates of Origin (CO) for export shipments in compliance with local and international regulations.

• Liaise with relevant authorities such as Chambers of Commerce, VCCI, and Customs to obtain required documentation and approvals.

• Monitor and ensure timely application and issuance of COs for various trade agreements.

• Maintain accurate records of COs and other related customs documentation.

• Provide support and advice to internal departments regarding CO rules and origin criteria.

• Keep up-to-date with changes in international trade agreements, customs regulations, and rules of origin.

• Assist with customs clearance procedures when necessary.

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Foreign Trade, Logistics, or related field.

• At least 2-3 years of experience in customs operations or CO documentation.

• Solid understanding of FTA rules of origin and customs regulations.

• Familiarity with online CO application systems (e.g., ECOSys, VNACCS).

• Good English, good communication and coordination skills.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
