Data & AI Engineer (Computer Vision & Forecasting)

We are seeking a highly technical Data & AI Engineer with strong expertise in Computer Vision, Time-series Forecasting, and high-performance backend systems.

You will be responsible for building end-to-end AI systems, from model development to production deployment at scale, especially in real-time and data-intensive environments.

AI/ML Development

• Develop AI/ML solutions for:
  • Computer Vision: detection, segmentation, tracking, OCR
  • Forecasting: demand prediction, anomaly detection, predictive analytics
• Build and optimize deep learning models (CNNs, Transformers, LSTM)
• Productionize research models into scalable systems

System & Backend Development

• Build high-performance AI services using:
  • Node.js / Go / Rust / C++
• Develop real-time inference pipelines and streaming systems
• Optimize latency, throughput, and resource utilization

Computer Vision & Real-time Systems

• Design and deploy real-time video/camera processing systems
• Optimize models for GPU and edge devices (TensorRT, ONNX)
• Handle large-scale image/video processing pipelines

Forecasting & Data Science

• Apply:
  • Statistical models: ARIMA, Prophet
  • ML/DL models: XGBoost, LSTM, Transformer
• Perform feature engineering on time-series data
• Evaluate models using metrics such as MAPE, RMSE, MAE

Data Engineering & MLOps

• Build scalable data pipelines (batch & streaming: Kafka, Spark)
• Implement MLOps practices (CI/CD, model versioning, monitoring)
• Deploy systems using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms

Architecture & Collaboration

• Design distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, and observability
• Collaborate with Product, Data, and Engineering teams
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code/architecture reviews

Core Technical Skills (Must-have)

• Strong programming skills:
  • Python (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
  • At least one system-level language: C++ / Rust / Go
• Experience with:
  • Computer Vision (OpenCV, YOLO, Detectron2)
  • Time-series forecasting & predictive modeling
• Solid understanding of:
  • ML/DL algorithms and optimization
  • System design and distributed systems

Backend & Systems

• Experience building:
  • Microservices architecture
  • High-performance systems (low latency, high throughput)
• Familiar with:
  • REST APIs, gRPC
  • Asynchronous / concurrent programming

MLOps & Data

• Hands-on experience with:
  • ML pipelines (MLflow, Kubeflow)
  • Data pipelines (Airflow, Kafka, Spark)
  • Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with edge AI (NVIDIA Jetson, TensorRT)
• Experience with real-time systems or video analytics
• Familiarity with multimodal or GenAI models

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or related fields
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in AI/Data Engineering
• Proven experience deploying production AI systems
