Location: 555 3/2 Street, Ward 8, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City.
Working time: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (Monday – Friday) and 8:30 - 12:30 (Saturday Morning).
I. Career Objective:
- The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for forecasting demand, managing inventory, overseeing import and export processes, and closely collaborating with Sales & Marketing to optimize stock levels and ensure product availability to drive sales.
- This role plays a crucial part in balancing supply and demand, optimizing the supply chain to ensure an effective merchandise strategy, minimizing waste, and maximizing profitability for the company.
II. Responsibilities:
1. Demand Forecasting & Supply Planning:
- Collect and analyze sales data, market trends, and marketing programs to accurately forecast demand for each product line.
- Develop a demand planning model to optimize inventory levels and prevent stock shortages or overages.
- Adjust supply plans based on sales performance, seasonal trends, marketing campaigns, and feedback from the Sales Team.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure forecasts align with actual market conditions, optimizing costs and operational efficiency.
2. Inventory Management & Product Flow Optimization:
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels by SKU, expiration dates, and product lifecycle to develop appropriate replenishment plans.
- Work closely with Sales & Marketing to optimize stock levels, ensuring sufficient supply for major campaigns without excessive inventory.
- Develop clearance stock strategies, manage near-expiry products, and minimize the risk of unsold inventory.
- Coordinate with Finance to control warehousing costs, stock turnover rates, and merchandise budget management.
3. Import-Export & Supply Chain Management:
- Supervise import-export processes, liaising with suppliers, customs, and logistics providers to ensure timely shipments and compliance with legal regulations.
- Handle certification procedures, tariff duties, and import licenses for international products.
- Monitor transportation status and proactively address potential logistics and supply chain risks.
- Work with suppliers to streamline the import process, reducing lead times.
4. Collaboration with Sales & Marketing to Optimize Inventory & Boost Sales:
- Work closely with Sales & Marketing to accurately forecast product demand for promotional programs and new product launches.
- Propose discount campaigns, bundle promotions, and clearance sales to optimize inventory levels and drive sales.
- Assist in developing regional distribution plans, ensuring product availability at key sales locations.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure adequate product supply for digital marketing campaigns, retail activations, and events.
