1. Demand Forecasting & Planning
Develop and maintain demand forecasting models using historical sales data, market trends, promotions, and seasonality
- Lead monthly forecasting cycles and contribute to S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and proactively take corrective actions in case of deviations.
- Provide forecasting input to support category planning, promotions, and new launches.
2. Centralized Ordering & Replenishment
- Execute centralized ordering according to approved replenishment plans, tailored to each store’s profile and sales pattern.
- Monitor top SKUs and stock status to adjust order quantities and minimize Out-of-Stock (OOS) risks.
- Manage promotional stock efficiently, coordinating closely with Merchandising and VM and stores.
- Handle exceptional purchase orders and resolve system issues, parameter mismatches, or abnormal order flows.
3. Inventory Monitoring & Supplier Follow-up
- Track and analyze key inventory KPIs: DOH, service level, detention rate, negative stock, slow-moving stock.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery issues such as incorrect quantities, missed shipments, or invoice issues.
- Follow up on stock aging and define action plans to reduce slow-moving or excess inventory.
- Support inventory optimization initiatives to balance availability and cost efficiency.
4. Cross-functional Coordination
- Align closely with Merchandising, Commercial, and Store Operations teams on replenishment strategy and execution.
- Coordinate stock flow with other teams to ensure timely and complete deliveries to stores.
- Act as the key point of contact for Category Heads and store on availability and stock-related issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and data accuracy within demand planning and replenishment.
