Design Engineer

Core responsibilities:

· Prepare Quote Estimates, Design Package, Final Estimate within assigned schedule / standard Engg. cycle time. On time reply to advise requests.

· Ability to read, understand & apply major building codes, namely AISC, MBMA, AISI, ASCE 7 & UBC as related to building loading and structural analysis.

· A sufficient Prepare Quote Estimates, Design Package, Final Estimate within assigned schedule / standard Engg. cycle time. On time reply to advise requests.

· A sufficient knowledge of manufacturing practice.

· Coordinate with Detailing Engineers and Drafting Checkers.

· Plans to finish his work according to assigned schedules, and gives early warnings to the Group Supervisor if schedules can't be met.

· Corrects any errors found, and implements instructions provided by the Group Supervisor or Checker after his job has been checked.

Job requirements:

·         University graduation from the field of Civil Engineering, or equivalent

·         Working experience in Designing (pre-engineered steel building is preferable).

·         Proficiency in SAP2000 and AutoCAD (Knowledge in STAAD, connection design applications is an advantage).

·         Good at English in Reading and Writing; Basic English communication.

·         Hard working, careful, honest, commitment, result-oriented. 

Working location:
Successful candidate will work at ZSV’s representative office, addressed at 3th Floor, Metro Tower, 667 Dien Bien Phu Street, Ward 25, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City.
