Development Leader (Footwear Insole component)

SUMMARY

Overview

The Development Leader will oversee the development and optimization the components of footwear products. This role involves leading cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet the highest standards of performance, comfort, and durability.

KEY RESPOSIBILITY

Lead and manage the Development team in designing and developing high-performance PU foam insoles for footwear applications

Conduct research on PU foam properties, manufacturing processes, and emerging technologies to enhance product quality and durability

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and marketing, to align R&D efforts with business objectives

Following and be responsible for new projects tooling testing given by Development Manager or other related Dept

Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation of new insole designs to meet industry standards and customer expectations

Coordinate with T1 for project development from initial stage to mass production.

Ensure all products meet company standards for performance, aesthetics, and cost-effectiveness.

Collaborate with designers, engineers, and production teams to translate design concepts into manufactural products.

Discuss with Team about planning/ fixing and organizing new projects

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

Knowledge of PU Pouring/ PU foam for Insole component.

Awareness of Tooling making/ tooling design process for new product.

English/ Computer Skill (Word/ Excel/ PPT/ Outlook..) - Knowing Chinese and using 3D programe (Rhino) is an advantage

Set up Material standards/ SOP/ PFC to transfer to production effectively.

Ability to reading and understanding 2D/3D

Communication Skill and Team work

Education & Working Experiences

Research and Development background in Footwear Company, especially in bottom component (Insole/ Midsole…)

Understanding about PU foam material and properties and its application in footwear
