The DevSecOps Engineer (Middle) position is responsible for operating, monitoring, and supporting the optimization of software deployment infrastructure, ensuring system stability and security. This role supports the development team in deploying and operating internal systems - web/app, ensuring the CI/CD pipeline runs reliably and the production environment meets operational requirements. The position reports directly to the Head of Technology & Digital Transformation (HOD) and works closely with the Solution Architect to implement and realize the system architecture. This is a hands-on role focused on directly executing DevOps tasks, proactively proposing improvements, and progressing toward a Senior-level career path.
Responsibilities
1. Reliability & Observability: Monitor and maintain system stability, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve operational issues. Prioritize the use of AI for anomaly detection and root cause analysis
2. Delivery Pipeline (CI/CD): Automate Build – Test – Deploy processes, integrating AI-assisted testing and security scanning into the CI/CD pipeline
3. Infrastructure as Code: Manage cloud provisioning, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cost optimization, leveraging AI-powered cost advisors and drift detection tools
4. Security Posture: Ensure system hardening, timely patch management, and compliance with security standards. Manage SSL certificates, IAM policies, and access controls. Leverage AI-driven tools for vulnerability prioritization and risk assessment
5. Developer Experience: Provision and maintain dev/staging environments to enable fast iteration. Support developers in debugging infrastructure-related issues. Explore and propose AI-powered ChatOps and documentation generation tools to improve team productivity
6. Data Protection: Manage backup, disaster recovery (DR), and data integrity processes to ensure business continuity
7. Innovation & Automation: Evaluate new technologies and build internal automation solutions, delivering at least one new AI integration initiative per quarter

- Certifications are considered a plus (not mandatory), including: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or equivalent, CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in DevOps, System Administration, or Cloud Engineering roles
- Hands-on experience operating production systems serving hundreds of users or dozens of services
- Proficient in Docker containerization; basic understanding of Kubernetes (deploy, debug pods, read logs)
- Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools
- Solid foundation in Linux system administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, Amazon Linux, etc.)
- Basic cloud infrastructure management experience (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC)
- Fundamental Terraform knowledge, with the ability to write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for simple resources
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent)
- Basic understanding of system security concepts (firewalls, SSL, IAM policies)
- Ability to write automation scripts using Bash or Python
- Hands-on experience with AI coding/ops assistants (Gemini/Antigravity, Claude, Codex) is a strong plus
- Clear communication and effective cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong analytical mindset with proactive problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the Solution Architect to implement system architecture
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English
