Environmental Specialist (Vung Tau Brewery)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

- Ensure the brewery is operating in compliance with applicable local regulations & Heineken’s requirement & EMS.

- Promote Environment & Sustainability Behavior & Culture

- Lead and collaborate continuous improvement activities regarding environment & sustainability.

- Maintain good in-house service at a high standard with high cost-effectiveness.

Strategy, Policies, Standards & Procedures

• Support manager to deliver the environment and sustainability actions following the Strategy, Policies, Standards & Procedures, Heirule compliance.

• Monitor environment and sustainability system & activities to ensure the performance of environment & sustainability program & driving activities.

Environment impact assessment (EIA)

• Coordinate and support on sustainability & environment impact assessment process based on local laws and HEINEKEN regulations, ISO 14001 requirement.

• Monitor Brewery’s activities based on the EIA.

Environment & Sustainability Compliance Implement process of managing legal and HEINEKEN compliance.

• Update new regulatory, local and HEINEKEN rules, standards.

• Communicate environment & sustainability behaviour, consequences & discipline.

• Share available good practices for continuous improvement.

Environment & Sustainability Behavior & Culture

• Conduct training on specific Environment & Sustainability Behavior & Culture aspects such as Energy & Water reduction, Environment protection, visible commitment, and leadership in environment & sustainability from the top of the organization to ensure a positive safety culture.

Environment & Sustainability Training

• Ensure training plan is established and training activities are conducted as planned.

TPM and continuous improvement

• Support for TPM activities as a member of Environment & Sustainability Pillar.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve Environment & Sustainability Culture.

• Lead and support for improvement activities regarding environment & sustainability.

Qualifications
University Degree in Engineering or Environment, Sustainability department, etc.

Experiences/skills At least 1 year of experience in Environmental management role of production company

Functional Competency:

- Knowledge of Environment, Sustainability

- Knowledge of TPM methodologies and tools

- Knowledge in ISO 14001 management system

Digital Competency:

- PC literacy (word, excel, power point, Power BI etc.)

Leadership Competency:

- People Management: Good at teamwork, leadership

- Leadership Competency:
