Finance Assistant to Chairman

About the role
We are seeking a senior Finance Assistant to Chairman to support the Chairman in overseeing all finance and accounting matters for AMG Vietnam and other companies assigned by the Chairman. This is a high-trust role for a finance leader who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
What you will do
• Advise and support the Chairman on finance, accounting, cash flow, budgeting, controls, and financial decision-making across assigned companies.
• Review and consolidate management reports, financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and business performance updates for leadership use.
• Establish and strengthen internal controls, reporting discipline, and finance processes across entities.
• Lead or supervise accounting operations, month-end closing, tax compliance, statutory reporting, and audit preparation.
• Manage cash flow planning, payment controls, banking relationships, and financial risk monitoring.
• Work closely with Chief Accountants, accountants, auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders to ensure sound execution.
• Support business planning, profitability analysis, investment review, and actionable recommendations for the Chairman.

Who we are looking for
• Strong experience in finance leadership, financial control, accounting, or corporate finance roles such as Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Chief Accountant, Head of Finance, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of Vietnamese accounting, tax, statutory compliance, and financial reporting requirements.
• Proven ability to build management reports, interpret financial data, and support business decisions with practical insights.
• Experience across multiple entities, business units, or group structures is highly preferred.
• Hands-on, disciplined, and detail-oriented, while still able to see the bigger business picture.
• High integrity, maturity, ownership, and confidentiality when working with senior leadership and sensitive financial information.
• Good English communication skills and professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or Chief Accountant certification are advantages.
