Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Report to Group Chief Financial Officer. He/ She will have to coordinate and manage for accounting closing, financial & month-end report as required by the Singapore Finance Headquarters; support company project in area of financing & accounting and pre-approve company payments within assigned limit, ensure the proper implementation of company strategies and objectives, and any other duties assigned by Group CFO of Singapore Headquarters. He /She has rich experiences on team management.
· Comprehensive Accounting: Responsible for the entirety of accounting transactions such as A/P, A/R, G/L, balance sheets, and financial statements. Ensures month-end closings, reviews, and financial statement reports adhere to local standards and tax requirements.
· Operational Oversight: Manages daily activities of the accounting department, ensuring all key projects, monthly and yearly reports are accurate and timely.
· Internal Control: Implements and upholds a robust system of internal controls and ensures the company's assets are effectively controlled.
· Stakeholder Liaison: Regularly collaborates with internal and external auditors, tax agents, legal agents, and bankers, ensuring all financial processes run smoothly and compliantly.
· Legal and Regulatory Adherence: Oversees compliance with all local laws, fiscal regulations, and ensures proper permits/licenses are obtained, especially concerning currency transfers and other financial aspects. Safeguards all crucial legal records that affect the company's financial standing.
· Report and Approval Oversight: Holds the authority for approving cash disbursements, allowances, adjustments, and signs off on various financial and operational reports. Additionally, play a pivotal role in interpreting and ensuring the accuracy of these reports.
· Build strong collaborative working relationships within the finance leadership team.
· Any other duties assigned by Group Chief Financial Officer/ Management.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
· Bachelor degree or above in Finance or Accounting.
· Min. 8 to 10+ years of experience in accounting and financial area.
· Being familiar with the knowledge of Vietnam Accounting Standards (VAS) is must.
· The relevant working experience over 8 years in shipping industry is preferred.
· Excellent business analytical and decision-making skills.
· People oriented and results driven.
· Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese is plus.
· Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and accounting software.
· Be able to work under pressure, diligent, and willing to grow with a young company with the spirit of entrepreneurship.
· Effectively bilingual in both English & tiếng Việt (as the position needs to frequently communicate with English speaking associates verbally/ in writing whenever appropriate.

Additional Compensation:
• 13th-month salary (standard in Vietnam).
• Performance bonus (1–3 months’ salary, depending on company profitability).
