I. ROLE OVERVIEW
- Directly responsible for managing, coordinating and executing activities related to consolidated financial reporting, financial analysis and treasury management; managing, assigning tasks and developing the capabilities of direct subordinate Financial Analysis & Treasury Specialists.
- Prepare budgeting plans and optimize the Company’s financial resources.
- Coordinate in developing financial strategies and ensuring the financial stability and sustainable development of the organization.
II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Preparation of Consolidated Financial Statements
- Ensure that consolidated financial statements comply with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, Stock Exchange regulations and the Company’s management requirements.
- Regularly update new regulations issued by the Ministry of Finance and provide guidance on implementation to relevant departments.
- Review and improve internal processes to ensure the accuracy and transparency of financial data.
- Standardize databases, templates and financial reporting systems; implement them consistently across the Group to ensure alignment when working with external auditors.
2. Preparation and Analysis of Management Reports
- Coordinate with the Department Head to prepare monthly and quarterly management analysis reports, assessing the business and financial performance of the Group and its subsidiaries.
- Establish an internal financial management database on Power BI and develop KPI dashboards to control and standardize information across the Group.
- Support the annual budgeting process; monitor and update budget data on Power BI to ensure accuracy and effectiveness in budget management.
- Participate in evaluating and developing business plans and financial models for new projects, including stores, brands, Air Cargo, Logistics, etc.
- Manage, assign tasks and develop the capabilities of direct subordinate Financial Analysis & Treasury Specialists; evaluate performance and propose additional recruitment when necessary.
3. Support Group Fundraising Activities
- Prepare and analyze cash flow reports; assess working capital requirements, loan drawdowns and debt repayment cash flows of the Group and its subsidiaries.
- Support the renewal and establishment of new credit facilities with financial institutions.
- Support the Project Finance team and the Chief Financial Officer in international fundraising transactions by providing financial data and financial analysis; not directly responsible for negotiation or signing. Monitor and supervise compliance with financial covenants after transaction completion.
4. Financial Risk Monitoring & Compliance
- Monitor financial risks and related-party transactions across the Group.
- Monitor compliance with Circular 99 and Decree 132 on transfer pricing; provide timely updates to the Chief Financial Officer.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the direct manager.
