Summary of Position : Responsible for managing end-to-end accounting, taxation, budgeting, and audit activities to ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective internal controls. The role also supports business operations through financial analysis, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance operational efficiency and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and general accounting activities, including accruals, prepayments, payroll accounting, and SAP postings with proper cost center allocation.
- Review promotion, commission, and rebate calculations to ensure accuracy, compliance with company policies and applicable regulations, and proper accounting treatment in the system.
- Prepare monthly tax declarations and annual tax finalization, including VAT, CIT, FCT, and other statutory filings, ensuring compliance with local regulations while monitoring tax updates to optimize tax efficiency and minimize risks.
- Lead the annual budgeting process by partnering with cross-functional departments to gather, analyze, and consolidate financial and operational data, ensuring accurate and comprehensive budget preparation.
- Coordinate annual external audit activities, working closely with auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of audited financial statements and compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
- Support Transfer Pricing (“TP”) compliance activities by preparing financial data and supporting documentation, and coordinating with external TP consultants for TP declaration forms and Local File submissions.
- Review and validate payment requests to ensure supporting documents are accurate and compliant with tax regulations, company policies, and internal control procedures.
- Manage fixed asset and CAPEX processes, including preparation of CAPEX proposals, coordination of approval workflows, asset capitalization, and depreciation processing in SAP.
- Update exchange rates in the system and perform automatic foreign currency revaluation.
- Coordinate periodic physical inventory counts and reconciliation activities, including stock verification, variance analysis, and alignment between physical inventory and SAP system records.
- Provide financial analysis and business insights to support management decision-making, operational efficiency, and business performance improvement.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance Department, including process optimization, SOP review and enhancement, ISO compliance activities, and collaboration with the Costing team to strengthen operational efficiency and internal controls.
