1. Role summary:
We are looking for a visionary and entrepreneurial Dealer Principal to lead our Mercedes-Benz dealership. Acting as “Mr./Ms Mercedes-Benz”, you will represent Phu My Hung Branch, ensuring operational excellence across sales, after-sales, customer service, and team leadership, with a sharp focus on growth, profitability, and premium customer experience.
2. Key Responsibilities
Business Strategy & Operations
Drive dealership performance across sales, after-sales, and customer satisfaction in line with Mercedes-Benz Standards.
Develop and execute business plans and KPIs to meet budgeted revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
Ensure compliance with MBV, Daimler, and regulatory guidelines, reporting to the BOD and Group.
Leadership & People Development
Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, foster a culture of performance and service excellence.
Implement staff development plans, training programs, and performance appraisals to enhance retention and loyalty.
Sales & Aftersales Management
Oversee new and used vehicle sales operations and parts inventory, ensuring optimal turnover and serviceability.
Manage after-sales targets and workshop productivity to ensure efficiency and profitability.
Customer Engagement & Marketing
Strengthen customer relationship strategies and implement retention programs to boost CSI.
Collaborate on marketing campaigns, customer segmentation, and dealer branding initiatives.
Operational Compliance
Ensure the showroom and workshop adhere to Mercedes-Benz Dealership Standards.
Lead DMS (Autoline) and Salesforce system implementation and monitor adherence to corporate standards.
Sales Planning & Forecasting
Manage annual and monthly sales planning, balancing wholesale, retail, and stock management effectively.
Ensure timely and accurate sales ordering and forecasting to meet business demands.
Asset & Procurement Oversight
Supervise dealership asset investments and procurement processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and proper documentation.
1. Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Automotive Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum 8–10 years of leadership experience in the automotive industry.
Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and customer-focused mindset.
Proven track record in sales leadership, team management, and operational excellence.
Fluent in Vietnamese and English.
2. Specialized Knowledge & Competencies
Brand Representation: Solid understanding of Mercedes-Benz heritage, values, and group structure; able to represent the brand with confidence.
Market Insight: Knowledge of automotive trends, competitors, and dealer network strategies.
Sales & Aftersales: Proficient in product presentation, marketing tools, and legal/commercial aspects of retail and service operations.
Finance & Accounting: Basic ability to interpret financial reports, budgets, and legal frameworks related to finance and contracts.
HR Management: Skilled in leadership, recruitment, performance appraisal, and HR planning with awareness of labor laws.
IT Systems: Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (e.g., Autoline) and general IT tools.
Quality Assurance: Basic knowledge of quality management principles and compliance.
