- Coordinate monthly HSE meetings with Natural Resources managers and supervisors for both Minerals and OGC, including review of incidents, hazards, actions, training and operational HSE priorities..
- Monitor HSE compliance in laboratories, field stations, client sites and sample handling/storage areas; address unsafe conditions with the responsible risk owners and track closure on time.
- Plan and deliver HSE training, Safe Talk/toolbox talk, onboarding and refresher sessions for employees, supervisors and relevant contractors based on the training matrix and actual operational risks.
- Drive SGS H&S campaigns and practical improvement programs aligned with current SGS direction: workplace presence, digitalization, contractor management, environmental/ESG initiatives and focused Impact Now activities.
- LManage HSE performance: (Lost time Injury Rate) reporting for Natural Resources, including incident status, training hours, leadership visits where applicable, hazards/near misses, corrective actions.
- Prepare Safe Talk topics and communication materials relevant to Minerals and OGC activities, including field travel, chemical/sample handling, PPE, fire prevention, environmental control and emergency response.
- Work with operation managers and supervisors to maintain role-based HSE training requirements, legal training records, PPE requirements and competency evidence for lab and field employees.
- Lead and facilitate risk assessments for high-risk activities, new/changed processes, contractor work and OGC/Minerals field operations; ensure safety controls are embedded into SOPs and work instructions.
- Support technical teams in preparing and updating safetychecklists, site visit reports, emergency arrangements and legal compliance evidence for Natural Resources operations.
- Lead or support incidents investigation in line with Vietnam regulations and SGS requirements; ensure lessons learned and corrective actions are communicated and closed.
- Implement the HSE cycle using daily, weekly and monthly follow-up routines to identify risks, verify actions and improve HSE performance through the PDCA approach.
- Implement safety improvement initiatives and internal communication programs in line with automation and digitalization strategies, environment as sustainability in collaboration with the H&S National Team and the Natural Resources business line.
- University degree for Safety, Health, Environmental Engineering, or Degree from Engineering Majors
- Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental at least 3 years’ experience HSE Laboratory/Inspection.
- Qualification on and HSE Legal.
- Strong computer skills, negotiation
- Well-developed presentation and training skills.
- Proven ability to promote safety awareness and foster a safety culture
- Good writing, reading, speaking and listening skills in English.
