Manage and implement database administration tasks to ensure annual plan completion and support the Department Head as assigned.
1. Planning
- Assist the Department Head in managing and implementing the section’s activity plans as scheduled and assigned.
2. Operations Management
- Oversee, operate, and maintain databases to ensure stable, secure, and continuous operations.
- Ensure database security and optimize performance and resource usage.
- Regularly monitor database status (both logical and physical), propose risk mitigation solutions, and apply vendor patches promptly.
- Plan, execute, and verify data backup and recovery as required.
- Coordinate with APD teams to manage, store, and restore IT data effectively.
- Ensure database consistency, access control, and authorized resource use.
- Monitor backups to prevent data loss, unauthorized changes, or illegal access.
3. Staff Management
- Support KPI allocation for team members.
- Monitor performance against targets and conduct regular reviews.
- Guide and organize training plans to enhance team expertise and professional development.
- Male/Female with bachelor’s degree or above from Information Technology or relevant majors
- Have knowledge of Accounting – Finance - Banking
- Other qualifications/certificates: having international certificate OCP (Oracle Database Certified Professional) is advantage
- Have knowledge operating system as Windows, Linux, Unix
- Good skills at Communication; presentation, solve problems and decision-making
- Ability to work independently/work in team, time management
- Experience: At least five year experience in database administration of Oracle: Backup/Recovery or equivalent position.
- Other knowledge of databases as Postgres, Ms SQL, MySQL…is advantage
- English: Ability in Reading comprehension & writing technical documents in English
