Job Summary:
The HRBP Supervisor (Assistant Manager) serves as the HR Business Partner for Plant 1. The role partners with business leaders to translate priorities and people challenges into practical talent, succession, capability, performance, employee-relations, culture, and engagement actions, and coordinates effective HR delivery with relevant HR functions and process owners.
Job Responsibilities:
A. Strategic HR Business Partnering & People Advisory (30%)
· Partner with the Plant Manager to translate business priorities into aligned people priorities and practical HR actions.
· Understand business priorities and people challenges; work with relevant HR functions to develop practical solutions in talent, capability, performance, engagement, and employee relations.
· Advise leaders on people-management matters, leadership effectiveness, team dynamics, change implementation, and the people implications of business decisions.
· Use people data, employee insights, and business indicators to identify talent, capability, performance, engagement, and employee-relations risks and recommend timely actions.
B. Talent, Capability & Performance Management (25%)
· Lead talent reviews, critical-position identification, succession and advancement planning, competency assessment, and individual development planning across the assigned scope.
· Partner with leaders and HR stakeholders to translate identified gaps into annual leadership, functional, and individual development priorities.
· Guide managers in goal setting, probation and performance reviews, development discussions, career planning, and performance-improvement actions.
C. Employee Relations, Culture, Engagement & Change (25%)
· Lead employee relations at Plant 1 and advise managers on employee concerns, conduct, attendance, grievances, investigations, disciplinary processes, and corrective actions in line with company policies and labor requirements.
· Identify recurring employee and organizational issues, determine root causes, and implement preventive actions with leaders to strengthen trust, discipline, and workplace effectiveness.
· Lead employee listening, Pulse Survey actions, culture and leadership initiatives, engagement, wellbeing, and change-management priorities at Plant 1;
· Partner with employees, line managers, the Trade Union, HR stakeholders, and relevant functions to support constructive labor relations and consistent people practices.
D. Team Leadership & Cross-functional Coordination (20%)
· Coordinate priorities between Plant 1 HR team members, business stakeholders, HR functions, and process owners to support consistent and timely site delivery.
· Consolidate site HR requirements, progress, employee issues, and operational risks; escalate matters requiring functional decisions or specialized expertise to the relevant HR owner.
· Promote collaboration, role clarity, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement; use HR data, digital tools, and approved AI-enabled solutions to improve team effectiveness.
Qualifications and Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline.
· At least 7 years of progressive HR experience, including solid HR Business Partnering, talent-management, and employee-relations exposure; team leadership in FMCG or manufacturing is strongly preferred.
· Strong working knowledge of Vietnamese labor law, employee relations, talent and performance management, learning and capability development, change management, and HR service-delivery interfaces.
· Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders, influence decisions, manage change, and resolve complex people issues.
· Good written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills in English and Vietnamese.
· Strong analytical capability and proficiency in Microsoft Office, HR systems, people analytics, and approved AI-enabled tools; high integrity, sound judgment, confidentiality, business acumen, and learning agility.
