Job purpose
The Compliance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Company and all Departments/Functions within MCH to ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies related to Occupational Health & Safety, Environment, Fire Prevention & Fighting (FPF), Maintenance, and other relevant operational activities. This role also participates in the development of compliance policies and promotes a culture of compliance through training and awareness initiatives
1. Compliance Policy Development and Implementation
- Support the Compliance Manager in developing policies and procedures to ensure legal and internal compliance across companies and departments under MCH.
2. Monitoring and Evaluation
- Develop plans and checklists for ad-hoc and periodic internal compliance audits.
- Identify and assess issues and potential risks, and propose corrective actions related to operational, safety, health, environmental management (HSE), fire prevention, and maintenance.
- Monitor and update relevant legal regulations, industry standards, and internal policies concerning HSE, fire prevention, and maintenance.
- Support and coordinate compliance controls in other areas assigned by the Compliance Manager.
- Track and verify follow-up actions and preventive measures taken by departments/units’ post-audit.
3. Advisory and Training
- Provide advice and recommendations to departments on compliance matters related to HSE, fire safety, maintenance, and other operational issues.
- Support the development of communication materials and training programs to strengthen the culture of compliance.
- Recommend control points to help identify potential risks and drive continuous improvement in compliance performance across MCH entities.
4. Reporting
- Prepare ad-hoc and periodic reports for the Compliance Manager on the compliance status of assigned areas.
- Develop and manage reporting systems and feedback mechanisms for post-audit corrective actions.
