Job Purpose

Support the safe execution of the Expansion Project by implementing HSE requirements throughout construction, equipment installation, electrical works, utilities, commissioning and start-up activities. Ensure all project activities comply with company HSE standards and applicable legal requirements with zero fatality and zero high potential incidents.

Key Responsibilities

1. Contractor Safety Management

• Verify contractor competency, licenses and mandatory training records.
• Review contractor manpower list and ensure authorized personnel only.
• Monitor contractor compliance with site HSE requirements.
• Participate in contractor performance evaluation.

2. Permit to Work (PTW)

·        Coordinate and verify PTW implementation high risk activities: Hot Work, Working at Height, Confined Space Entry, Electrical Isolation / LOTO, Lifting Operations,…

·        Ensure permits are correctly issued, displayed and closed.

3. Site Safety Inspection: Conduct daily project safety inspections and Track findings until closure.

4. Risk Assessment

·        Support project team to review: Method Statement, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessment (RA), Emergency Response Plan,

·        Ensure controls are implemented before work starts.

5. Equipment Installation Safety

·        Monitor safe installation of Production machines, Electrical panels, Fire protection systems…

·        Ensure compliance with engineering and HSE standards.

6. Commissioning & Start-up Safety: Support HSE readiness before equipment energization  and participate in Pre-Start-up Safety Review.

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or related disciplines.
• 2–4 years of HSE experience in construction, manufacturing expansion or industrial projects.
• Experience managing contractors is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Vietnam HSE regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
