1. Customs, Import & Export Management
- Manage daily customs, import/export, and logistics operations, and maintain effective communication with Customs Authorities and relevant external parties.
- Establish, implement, and update procedures and management processes related to customs, logistics, and warehouse operations.
- Collect and analyze import/export and inventory data, prepare related reports (includes annual Customs Finalization Reports), and ensure consistency between import/export records and inventory data.
- Coordinate with Forwarder and business partners to ensure smooth delivery operations, and review transportation routes, delivery performance, and logistics costs.
- Monitor customs regulation changes and implement interal training course to relevant requirements and operational impacts to internal stakeholders.
2. Warehouse Operations Management
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, issuing, storage, inventory control, and record maintenance.
- Ensure accurate inventory transactions and maintain consistency between physical inventory and SAP system records.
- Ensure materials are stored safely, efficiently, and promote effective warehouse space utilization.
- Establish, maintain, and improve warehouse procedures, work instructions, and documentation to support operational and audit requirements.
- Plan and allocate resources, provide training on operational procedures to ensure safe warehouse operations and achieve departmental objectives.
A. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of customs regulations, import/export procedures, international trade operations.
- Good knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, material management, inventory reconciliation, and compliance requirements.
2. Skills:
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills.
- Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
3. Abilities:
- Ability to handle complicated customs issues.
- Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to lead and supervise a team to achieve operational objectives.
B. Minimum education and work experience required:
1. Education
- Bachelor’s Degree of university.
2. Work Experience
- Experience in import/export, logistics, or related supply chain field at least 5 years.
- Experience in an Export Processing Enterprise (EPE) is preferred.
- Experience using SAP/ERP systems and inventory management processes is preferred.
