Import Export Supervisor (Work at Phu My, BR-VT)

1. Customs Compliance:

• Ensure all import and export activities comply with local and international customs laws and regulations
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant trade agreements, tariffs, and duties.

2. Documentation Management:

• Prepare, review, and submit all required documentation for customs clearance, including invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of shipments and customs declarations.

3. Operations Supervision:

• Oversee daily customs clearance operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of shipments.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics partners.

4. Cost Optimization:

• Identify and implement strategies to minimize customs duties and fees while ensuring compliance.
• Monitor and negotiate with service providers to ensure cost-effective solutions.

5. Problem Resolution:

• Address and resolve any issues related to customs delays, inspections, or disputes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customs authorities and provide support during audits.

6. Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to align customs activities with company objectives.
• Provide guidance and training to team members on customs regulations and best practices.

- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of  4 years of experience in customs and import/export operations.
- In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, HS codes, and trade agreements.
- Proficiency in customs clearance software and tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
