Position Summary
- Supports Process Engineer development NPI and Mass products such as break down process, make work instruction, record cycle time and line balancing.
- Supports production team such as update STD, release specifications on production, resolve issue, improvement...
- Follow up with improvement projects or other task as assignment from Engineering Senior/Supervisor.
- Train production personnel on new product and processes.
- Identify/implement continuous improvement ideas to improve Quality, Productivity, Reduce Downtime, and Reduce Costs.
- Product& Process design development with optimize production process
- Cooperate with related department to solve production issues.
Key Skills & Responsibilities
- Follow product to develop process step and standard time.
- Collect cycle time data for NPI and Mass production product.
- Study tooling/Jig to improve assembly process
- Develop and implement work instructions and train team members.
- Lead and drive for continuous improvement activities to achieve company objectives
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction
- Improve the efficiency of each production process.
- Plan, select, design, and develop workplace and layout for manufacturing processes using lean manufacturing techniques.
- Implement LEAN Manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and improve productivity
- Conduct time studies, cycle time analysis, and line balancing to eliminate bottlenecks.
- Minimize waste (scrap, cost of non-quality / conformance/nonvalue add)
- Spoken English is fluent, smooth writing.
- Electronics factory relevant work experience, the power plant experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with analytical tools, workflow time study, and process balancing
- Positive attitude, a good concept of cost.
- Problem-solving skill / Teamwork skill.
- Use proficient Autocad 2D, Microsoft office.
- Technical Competencies: Lean Manufacturing, VSM, Continuous flow, Workplace organization 5S, Cycle time, takt time studies, Ergonomic, Define Waste, SMED, Pull system, TPM program, PCB Assembly, Box Build, Mechanical Assembly, and Industrial Engineering.
