INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER

Report to: Production Manager

Production Data Analysis & KPI Control

• Collect, verify, and analyze production performance data, including Output, OEE, Scrap rate, Downtime, and Overtime.
• Design and maintain structured KPI reports and dashboards on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Detect performance deviations and abnormal trends through systematic data analysis.
• Standardize data collection methods to ensure consistency and accuracy across production lines.
• Prepare clear and concise performance reports to support management decision-making.

Productivity & Operational Efficiency Enhancement

• Conduct manpower analysis, line balancing, and workflow optimization to improve operational efficiency.
• Perform time studies and establish standard cycle times.
• Improve labor productivity by optimizing output per man-hour.
• Analyze and enhance plant layout and material flow to eliminate waste.
• Support production capacity planning to reduce unnecessary overtime.

Continuous Improvement & Lean Implementation

• Lead Kaizen initiatives and cost-reduction projects.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing practices such as 5S, waste elimination, and visual management.
• Drive initiatives to reduce scrap and improve process efficiency.
• Track and evaluate the effectiveness of improvement projects.

Problem Solving & Process Control

• Conduct root cause analysis using structured methodologies (5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, 7 QC tools).
• Improve process stability and minimize variation.
• Support corrective and preventive action implementation (CAPA).
• Develop and update SOPs to standardize best practices.

Capacity & Resource Optimization

• Perform capacity studies and identify production bottlenecks.
• Support production planning through equipment and manpower utilization analysis.
• Recommend workload balancing strategies across production lines.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (preferred) or related Engineering discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proven experience in productivity improvement and continuous improvement projects.
• Hands-on experience in time study and line balancing is required.
• Strong knowledge of Industrial Engineering principles and methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas, data analysis).
• Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is an advantage.
• Good understanding of production KPIs and efficiency calculations.
• Basic knowledge of statistical analysis.
