Industrial Engineering Leader

A. PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION/ MỤC ĐÍCH CỦA VỊ TRÍ:

The Industrial Engineering Leader is a key driver of Operational Excellence within the manufacturing organization. This role is responsible for leading systematic improvements across manufacturing processes through poka-yoke implementation, automation of manual processes, and value stream optimization./ Trưởng nhóm Kỹ thuật Công nghiệp là nhân tố then chốt thúc đẩy Operational Excellence trong tổ chức sản xuất. Vị trí này chịu trách nhiệm dẫn dắt các cải tiến có hệ thống trên toàn bộ quy trình sản xuất thông qua việc triển khai poka-yoke (chống sai lỗi), tự động hóa các công đoạn thủ công và tối ưu hóa dòng giá trị.

As a technical and people leader, the IE Lead ensures sustainable improvements in productivity, quality, cycle time, and process robustness, with primary focus on manufacturing execution and operational excellence in a EMS environment./ Với vai trò là lãnh đạo kỹ thuật và con người, IE Leader đảm bảo các cải tiến bền vững về năng suất, chất lượng, thời gian chu kỳ (cycle time) và độ ổn định của quy trình, tập trung chủ yếu vào thực thi sản xuất và vận hành xuất sắc trong môi trường EMS.

B. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / TRÁCH NHIỆM CHÍNH

1. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement / Vận hành xuất sắc & Cải tiến liên tục

• Lead the identification and implementation of poka-yoke/error-proofing solutions./ Dẫn dắt việc xác định và triển khai các giải pháp poka-yoke / error-proofing.
• Drive cycle time reduction initiatives using value stream mapping (VSM). / Thúc đẩy các sáng kiến giảm cycle time thông qua Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
• Identify process variation and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions./ Nhận diện biến động quy trình, dẫn dắt phân tích nguyên nhân gốc rễ và hành động khắc phục.
• Establish standardized IE methodologies and best practices./ Thiết lập và chuẩn hóa các phương pháp, công cụ và best practices của Industrial Engineering.​

2. Automation & Productivity Improvement/ Tự động hóa & Cải thiện năng suất

• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes./ Xác định các cơ hội tự động hóa các công đoạn thủ công.
• Evaluate feasibility, ROI, and risks of automation solutions./ Đánh giá tính khả thi, hiệu quả đầu tư (ROI) và rủi ro của các giải pháp tự động hóa.
• Coordinate cross-functional implementation and validation./ Phối hợp triển khai và xác nhận giải pháp cùng các bộ phận liên quan.​

3. Manufacturing Process & Line Engineering/ Quy trình sản xuất & Kỹ thuật dây chuyền

• Optimize manufacturing flows, layouts, routing, and line balancing./ Tối ưu dòng chảy sản xuất, layout, routing và cân bằng chuyền.
• Define capacity, takt time, and manpower requirements./ Xác định công suất, takt time và nhu cầu nhân lực.
• Support line setup, changes, and ramp-up./ Hỗ trợ thiết lập chuyền, thay đổi quy trình và giai đoạn ramp-up sản xuất.​

4. Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration/ Lãnh đạo & Phối hợp liên phòng ban

• Lead, coach, and develop Industrial Engineering processes./ Dẫn dắt, huấn luyện và phát triển đội ngũ/hoạt động Industrial Engineering.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Process Engineering, and Supply Chain./ Phối hợp chặt chẽ với các bộ phận Sản xuất, Chất lượng, Kỹ thuật quy trình và Chuỗi cung ứng.
• Drive ownership and continuous improvement mindset./ Thúc đẩy tinh thần ownership và văn hóa cải tiến liên tục.​

5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) deliverables/ Các chỉ số đo lường hiệu quả (KPIs)

• Cycle time reduction and productivity improvement./ Giảm cycle time và cải thiện năng suất.
• Effectiveness of poka-yoke implementations./ Hiệu quả triển khai các giải pháp poka-yoke.
• Automation project delivery./ Tiến độ và kết quả các dự án tự động hóa.
• Manufacturing stability and variation reduction./ Độ ổn định của sản xuất và mức độ giảm biến động quy trình.

1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field. A focus on Electrical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering is preferred.

2. Experience: From 7–10 years in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, or EMS is preferred.

3. Others: 

• Ability to apply Lean Manufacturing principles and tools (VSM, Standard Work, Line Balancing, Waste Elimination) to drive measurable operational improvements
• Capability to use Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC) and statistical thinking to lead data-driven problem solving and improvement initiatives.
• Proven ability to lead continuous improvement projects end-to-end, delivering tangible results in productivity, quality, and cycle time.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to translate improvement concepts into practical shopfloor execution.
