Interior Designer- Nhân viên thiết kế nội thất tàu

Our company is a French-owned shipbuilding enterprise based in Nha Be District, Ho Chi Minh City. We are currently recruiting a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our team.

* JOB TASKS

- Prepare detailed accommodation drawings including arrangement, insulation, flooring, ceiling, and lining…

- Perform material calculations to define appropriate specifications.

- Ensure all designs comply with contractual requirements.

- Prepare purchasing specifications for equipment

- Prepare requests for quotation and/or purchase orders.

- Maintain accurate and updated weight estimations of the vessel

- Keep technical documentation current and accessible.

- Monitor regulatory updates and ensure compliance.

- Remain aware of the latest technological innovation and working methods

* RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY

- Strong experience in accommodation arrangement, insulation planning, floating floors with visco-elastic materials, joinery works, and noise control.

- Prior experience in the naval or shipbuilding environment is an advantage.

- Proficiency in 3D ship design software (e.g., AutoCAD) and ability to develop design models based on system design principles.

- Ability to resolve issues related to Classification/Flag comments on accommodation drawings.

- Coordinate effectively with production teams, vendors, and design consultants to address design-related matters.

- Provide regular and accurate reports to supervising officers.

- Bachelor's degree in Interior design, Architecture, Naval Architecture, or related fields

- English: Intermediate level (communication, reading, writing)

- Computer skills: Office ( Intermediate); AutoCAD (Intermediate)

- Good communication skills

- Experience in the naval environment would be a plus
