IT System Engineer

Own and maintain the Company's core IT infrastructure, including physical/virtual servers, network, firewall/VPN, identity infrastructure, endpoint infrastructure, backup/DR, server room, CCTV/fingerprint systems and related technical controls.

Act as the technical escalation and infrastructure owner: troubleshoot complex incidents, perform root-cause analysis, supervise suppliers/maintenance, maintain documentation and ensure infrastructure is secure, monitored, recoverable and supportable.

Main task:

• Monitor server logs, health, capacity and performance; administer Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization platforms, storage systems and basic Linux servers.
• Maintain server room, UPS and infrastructure monitoring systems (Zabbix or equivalent); investigate and resolve alerts proactively.
• Monitor Internet bandwidth, network availability and performance; troubleshoot recurring connectivity issues.
• Administer LAN/WAN, VLAN, Wi-Fi, routing, multi-site connectivity, firewalls, VPN, MFA and network segmentation.
• Maintain CCTV infrastructure, recording systems and network connectivity; coordinate vendor support when required.
• Maintain network cabling, patching, topology diagrams and infrastructure documentation; support network improvement projects.
• Prepare infrastructure budgets, technical specifications and recommendations for servers, storage, network, security and related IT equipment.
• Administer AD/Entra identity services, access controls, authentication systems and endpoint security management.
• Maintain fingerprint/attendance systems, integrations and technical configurations; coordinate maintenance and repairs.
• Evaluate suppliers, review quotations, compare technical solutions, warranties, SLAs and support infrastructure procurement activities.
• Verify equipment specifications, acceptance testing, warranty records and technical documentation before production deployment.
• Oversee IT asset inventory, labeling, stock control and asset lifecycle management.
• Manage IT equipment provisioning, user access requests and privileged access administration following security standards.
• Oversee equipment handover, return, reassignment and secure decommissioning processes.
• Monitor warranty status and maintenance activities for servers, networks, CCTV, UPS, storage and other critical infrastructure.
• Diagnose complex infrastructure incidents, perform root cause analysis and provide technical escalation support.
• Define repair scope, evaluate vendor proposals and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Supervise vendor maintenance, validate service quality and maintain backup, recovery and configuration management processes.
• Verify systems after maintenance or changes, ensuring connectivity, security, monitoring and backup functions operate normally.
• Manage employee offboarding processes, including access revocation, asset recovery, privileged account control, emergency access management and audit compliance.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in system, network or infrastructure administration/support.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory/AD DS, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file services, LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/VLAN, switching/routing, firewall/VPN, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V or equivalent), backup/restore, NAS/storage and server-room/UPS infrastructure.
• Understanding of endpoint security/device management, CCTV/fingerprint systems, infrastructure monitoring and disaster recovery.
• Basic Linux administration is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Able to independently handle L2 incidents and critical infrastructure maintenance.
• Able to technically evaluate suppliers, quotations, warranty/repair options and equipment specifications.
• Good documentation, communication, prioritization and guidance skills.
• Microsoft 365 and infrastructure administration/monitoring tools.
• PowerShell or basic scripting knowledge is an advantage. - Able to read and understand English technical documentation and communicate on technical matters. - Responsible, careful, proactive and service-oriented.
• Strong ownership and control mindset for infrastructure, assets and access.
• Able to work under pressure during incidents and maintenance windows.
• Willing to learn and continuously improve technical standards.
