Position Summary

Familiarity with general lab equipment operation – current meter, voltage meter & oscillograph & power supply

Lead the technician & workers

Set up the test according to Work Instruction

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluation of power tools.
• Conduct the tests per WI, UL and international standard;
• Review the testing data;
• Use MS office software to process and present the data or reports in both English and Chinese;
• Train the technician and operators to do the test safely & properly.
• Assist to carry out the daily maintenance of equipment, the calibration sending of equipment, quality control and other quality system work and 5S.

Person Specifications

• Mechanical College
• Relevant experience with good knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering ;
• Good operating & hands-on skills;
• Be able to read English, with spoken English is preferred.

Reporting relationship:

Reports to the Supervisor of Test Lab

Supervises:

Typically supervises the Test Lab technician and operator.

Assure that all operators work efficiently and safely.

Active interaction with engineers, coordinator and other technicians within the department to return and solve technical issues.

External

Regular interactions with the relevant technical issues with other relevant teams. Like NPD, RE
