The Lab Technician supports product development activities through hands-on laboratory work, sensory evaluation coordination, equipment testing, and inventory management. This role ensures smooth laboratory operations while maintaining quality standards in all development processes.
Support in Inventory Management
- Manage in-out tracking of raw materials and ingredients
- Process ingredient requests for laboratory use and development work
- Maintain accurate stock levels and inventory records
- Coordinate with suppliers to procure new ingredients for development work
- Conduct regular inventory audits and stock reconciliation
- Monitor expiration dates and ensure proper storage conditions
Support in Development Work
- Set up laboratory equipment and materials for development processes
- Support in preparation for sensory evaluation sessions internally in development process
- Assist in sample preparation and testing procedures for new product development
- Document development activities and maintain development records
Support in Tools & Equipment Testing
- Support in new equipment testing and maintain detailed records
- Execute equipment calibration activities and document results
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or deviations
- Maintain equipment testing logs and calibration certificates
