The L&D executive provides operational excellence, administrative control, and project support for plant-wide learning, talent development, and HR operations. Reporting directly to the L&D management, this role ensures smooth training logistics, maintains HR audit compliance (Iso), participates in the TNA process, and supports capability-building projects for indirect staff and leadership.
1. Orientation & Operation
- Induction & Orientation: Prepare materials, organize venues, and deliver regular orientation sessions for direct workers and indirect new hires.
- Classroom & Event Logistics: Manage training room bookings, equipment setup, material printing, trainer coordination (internal/external), and attendance tracking.
- Training Evaluation & Admin: Distribute pre/post-tests, aggregate feedback scores, update employee training profiles, and follow up on course KPIs.
- Budget & Financial Support: Issue Purchase Requests/Orders (PR/PO), verify vendor invoices, and track spending against the approved L&D budget
2. TNA and Employee development project
- Active TNA Participation: Support the annual and ad-hoc Training Needs Analysis (TNA) by collecting department inputs, consolidating appraisal development requests, and assisting in initial skill gap analysis.
- Knowledge & Competency Base: Assist in maintaining competency frameworks, standardizing job know-how documentation, and managing the plant’s internal learning library.
- Indirect & Leadership Projects: Provide coordination, logistical, and tracking support for technical upskilling programs and leadership/supervisory development initiatives.
3. Training Matrix & Audit
- Full HR Audit Readiness: Prepare, consolidate, and maintain comprehensive HR documents across all HR functions to ensure 100% compliance for IMS, ISO, customer, and internal audits.
- Shop-floor OJT Tracking: Collect, verify, and summarize shop-floor On-The-Job Training (OJT) logbooks and probation evaluations from line mentors.
- Training Matrix & System Control: Maintain and continuously update the plant-wide training matrix, certification records, and training hours on the HR system.
4. Employee Engagement & General HR Support
- Support the execution of employee engagement events, CSR activities, and collect exit/experience survey data for retention analysis.
- Assist HR and Talent Acquisition teams with ad-hoc operational assignments, recruitment support, and project coordination as assigned.
