The Learning & Development Manager – Sales Capability is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance the capabilities, skills, and performance of the sales team across all channels. This role plays a key part in building a high-performing sales organization by driving capability development aligned with business objectives in the FMCG industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Capability Strategy:
- Develop and execute the sales capability development strategy aligned with commercial and business goals.
- Identify capability gaps across sales functions distributor management, and field sales.
- Build annual training roadmap for sales teams nationwide.
2. Learning & Development:
- Create and execute learning strategies and programs
- Evaluate individual and organizational development needs
- Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training)
- Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops and other trainings
- Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
- Help managers develop their team members through career pathing
- Maintain good communication and positive relationships with employees to promote employee satisfaction and ensure a positive working environment.
- Plan and execute internal activities on special occasions to gather and warm-up all employees.
- Track budgets and negotiate contracts.
