Macro Strategist - Success Profile
The Macro Strategist serves as a key thought leader in interpreting macroeconomic trends, policy shifts, and market dynamics to guide investment strategy and asset allocation. This role requires a blend of analytical rigor, strategic foresight, and communication excellence to influence decision-making across portfolios and client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Macroeconomic Analysis: Monitor, forecast and interpret global and domestic economic indicators, (geo)political developments, and market trends.
- Investment Strategy Development: Formulate top-down investment theses and translate them into actionable strategies across asset classes (equities, fixed income, real estate, FX, alternatives).
- Asset allocations: Create strategic asset allocation model portfolio
- Thought Leadership: Produce high-quality research reports, white papers, presentations for internal stakeholders and clients, and nd media engagements
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with portfolio managers, asset allocators, and risk teams to align macro views with portfolio construction.
- Client Engagement: Communicate macro views to clients, contributing to investment committees, roadshows, and strategic reviews.
