Key Responsibilities and Duties

1. Market Research & Industry Analysis

  • Conduct research on assigned industries, market trends, and customer behaviors.
  • Analyze competitors, industry events, and market positioning.
  • Identify and define target audiences, including exhibitors, visitors, buyers, and industry professionals.
  • Develop visitor and exhibitor personas to support marketing strategies.
  • Gather market intelligence and provide recommendations for project growth and differentiation.
  • Maintain and update industry databases and prospect lists.

2. Marketing Planning

  • Develop comprehensive marketing plans for assigned exhibitions and events.
  • Define campaign objectives, key messages, target segments, timelines, and promotional activities.
  • Prepare and manage project marketing calendars.
  • Coordinate marketing initiatives with sales, operations, and project teams.
  • Monitor marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective execution.

3. Content Marketing

  • Develop content strategies aligned with project objectives.
  • Create and manage website content, landing pages, and promotional materials.
  • Write and edit email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and event announcements.
  • Produce social media content and manage content schedules.
  • Prepare marketing materials, press releases, media kits, and promotional copy.
  • Ensure consistency of brand messaging across all communication channels.

4. Campaign Management

  • Work closely with external marketing and advertising agencies.
  • Prepare campaign briefs, including:
    • Campaign objectives
    • Target audience
    • Key messages
    • Budget allocation
    • Campaign timelines
  • Review and approve advertising creatives and marketing materials.
  • Coordinate campaign execution across multiple channels.
  • Monitor campaign performance and ensure delivery against agreed KPIs.
  • Recommend optimization actions to improve campaign effectiveness.

5. Digital Marketing Coordination

  • Coordinate digital marketing activities including social media, email marketing, website updates, and online promotion.
  • Track campaign performance metrics such as leads, registrations, website traffic, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and insights.
  • Work with agencies and vendors to optimize marketing outcomes.

6. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Sales teams to align marketing activities with exhibitor and visitor acquisition goals.
  • Work with Graphic Designers and content contributors to develop marketing materials.
  • Coordinate with Operations teams to support event promotion and execution.
  • Liaise with media partners, industry associations, and external stakeholders when required.

7. Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Monitor project marketing KPIs and campaign effectiveness.
  • Analyze marketing data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and post-event marketing reports.
  • Evaluate campaign ROI and identify improvement opportunities for future events.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or related fields.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Marketing, Event Marketing, Exhibition Marketing, B2B Marketing, or related fields.
  • Experience in project-based marketing environments is preferred.
  • Experience working with external agencies is an advantage.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong market research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent content writing and communication skills.
  • Project management and coordination capabilities.
  • Understanding of digital marketing principles and performance metrics.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing tools.
  • Ability to interpret marketing data and generate insights.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
