MEASUREMENT LEADER

JOB PURPOSE

• Being responsible for managing the measurement team and all measurement equipment belong to Measurement room and Wheel test machine. This includes managing measurement equipment, ensuring all machines are properly calibrated or verified, and maintaining high accuracy and performance in all measurement activities.
• The role ensures product quality and compliance with internal and customer standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the implementation and ensure that the requirements of the Quality Management System are put into practice on a permanent basis
• Develop, implement, and maintain a robust reporting system of company performance to AC management at appropriate intervals
• Implement internal audit activity with records, follow up and verify effectiveness of corrective actions
• Assign tasks, operate measurement team to conduct measurements, test as request from internal VAC and customer following defined timeline.
• Manage machines, ensure calibration/verification.
• Maintaining, troubleshooting, handling problems related to measuring and Wheel test machines.
• Work with CFT on the design, R&D phase and investigation to find out sufficient measurement method
• Review CAD model, drawing, GD&T and customer requirements to define measurement plans and testing procedure for new product.
• Develop, operate, maintain, optimize measurement program of measurement systems (CMM, 3D scanners…)
• Analyze and interpret measurement and testing data to identify deviations. 
• Writing work instructions, train and lead team to deliver tasks as required 
• Ensure measurement and testing activities have accuracy, repeatability, safety, and compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements.
• Monitor technician performance and provide training and guidance as needed to maintain performance.

• University’s degree or higher in engineering field.
• Knowledge in the setup of measurements and gauges.
• Understand CAD, 2D drawing, GD&T knowledge
• Know how to operate CMM; GOM is preferable.
• Good Microsoft Office user skills.
• Good English communication skills.
