MEP Project Engineer

The job holder is responsible for management of M&E to ensure the smooth and safety operation of the project in a timely manner and compliance with Vietnam laws/ regulations and the Company’s strategies/ policies. An excellent CSA Engineer must be well-versed in all construction design

• Ensure the Construction is in full compliance with the Project Agreement, including matters relating to quality, safety, environment, and life cycle performance, such as Project’s ECO Plan, Health and Safety Plan, and all applicable legislation.
• Review and understand project schedule. Make suggestions for time savings, logical sequence of work, and alert Construction Manager if there are any issues that will impact the schedule.
• Oversees and facilitates the installation of equipment and components for project to ensure contractors can fulfill all obligations according to approved methods, specifications and schedules.
• Serves as liaison with project management reporting on inspections, subcontracting, progress and delays.
• Participates in project meetings and facilitates regularly-scheduled meetings related to construction execution and project deliverables.
• Supports integration of project data such as, but not limited to: schedule, estimate, documentation, cost reports and performance data, etc.
• Interprets designs and drawings for technicians.
• Tracks RFIs, site drawings, As-built drawings, and other project documents.
• Proactively identifies and works to resolve any site issues that may impede project delivery.
• Provides technical knowledge and input to assist installing contractors.
• Assigns work to Coordinators and ensures they have the tools to complete their tasks
• Mentors Coordinators and liaises on all levels of the project

• Bachelor’s degree with related major (Architect, Electric Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, HVAC, Civil Engineer)
• Project/ Construction Supervisor Certificate Grade 2
• Between 5-7 year’s relevant working experience preferably in factory & office project.
• Proficiency at Auto Cad, good knowledge of MS Office, MS project.
• Proven experience for architectural & structural design.
• Good understanding of building design, detailing, building codes, Vietnamese authority submission procedures and the project implementation process is essential
• Ability to work under high pressure.
• Ability to work independently but contact other teams for information.
• Technical English (must be an advantage).
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• A team player with leadership abilities
• Design or equivalent certification will be an advantage
