Overview about this position: This position serves as the primary guardian of customer standards throughout the footwear development and production process. This role combines technical footwear expertise with merchandising capabilities to ensure products consistently meet customer specifications, quality requirements, and timeline expectations. The position focuses on rigorous monitoring of factory execution, proactive identification of gaps between customer standards and production output, and implementation of corrective action plans to ensure only products that fully meet customer expectations are submitted for approval.
Details:
Customer Standards Implementation and Monitoring
- Maintain comprehensive understanding of each brand's technical standards and requirements
- Translate customer requirements into clear technical specifications for factory execution
- Develop and implement systematic monitoring systems to ensure continuous adherence to customer standards
- Conduct regular comparative analyses between customer standards and factory outputs
- Identify deviations from customer standards at the earliest possible stage
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address any gaps
- Ensure all products submitted for customer approval fully meet established standards
Product Development Coordination
- Oversee footwear development from initial tech pack to final production
- Evaluate technical feasibility of designs against customer standards
- Review pattern and last development to ensure alignment with customer requirements
- Coordinate with factories on material selections that meet customer specifications
- Maintain technical documentation that clearly communicates customer standards
- Regularly verify that construction methods align with customer expectations
Quality Verification and Gap Analysis
- Systematically compare factory execution against customer standards at each production stage
- Identify and document deviations from customer requirements
- Develop detailed correction plans with specific actions and timelines
- Monitor implementation of correction plans to ensure effectiveness
- Establish preventive measures to avoid recurring issues
- Create feedback loops to continuously improve adherence to customer standards
- Verify that correction plans have successfully resolved identified gaps
Sample Development Supervision
- Ensure all samples are produced in strict accordance with customer specifications
- Conduct thorough pre-submission quality checks against customer standards
- Identify potential issues before samples are sent to customers
- Direct necessary modifications to meet customer requirements
- Verify corrected samples meet all customer standards before submission
- Document and track customer feedback for continuous improvement
- Implement systematic improvements based on customer input
'Production Oversight
- Establish monitoring mechanisms to ensure production adheres to approved standards
- Conduct regular audits to verify adherence to customer specifications
- Identify production deviations and implement immediate corrections
- Verify that all corrective actions are properly implemented
- Ensure final production meets all customer standards before shipment
- Maintain comprehensive records of all quality verifications and corrections
Documentation and Systems Management
- Document customer standards in standarized company forms, and other required forms
- Track all deviations from standards and subsequent corrections in the company system
- Generate comprehensive reports on standards compliance and improvement actions
- Maintain detailed records of all correction plans and their implementation
- Use documentation systems to prevent recurring issues
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Communicate customer standards clearly to all stakeholders
- Coordinate with QC teams to ensure unified understanding of requirements
- Work with production teams to implement effective compliance measures
- Collaborate with material suppliers to ensure consistent adherence to specifications
- Serve as the technical authority on customer standards within the company

- Female only;
- Bachelor's degree in Footwear Technology, Engineering, Product Development, or related field;
-Minimum 5-10 years of experience in footwear development and production;
-Demonstrated success in ensuring product compliance with customer standards
- Strong background in quality assurance and standards implementation
- Experience developing and implementing correction plans in manufacturing environments
-Have the skills, abilities, and qualities necessary to ensure the successful execution of the job descriptions mentioned above;
-Proficient in Excel and Google Workspace;
- English proficiency sufficient for professional communication, discussion, and reporting with colleagues and management.
