MERCHANDISER FOR SUPERMARKET PRODUCTS

We are seeking a qualified and motivated candidate to join our dynamic team as a Merchandiser for supermarket products. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for sourcing and managing consumer goods. Key responsibilities include:

• Sourcing products such as apparel, footwear, household goods, and other consumer items, while compiling supplier lists and data for management reports.

• Negotiating with suppliers on pricing, order quantities, delivery schedules, product quality, payment terms, and shipping conditions.

• Monitoring the order process to ensure quality standards and buyer requirements are met, providing daily updates to the Director.

• Collaborating with purchasing, accounting, documentation, and logistics teams to address issues related to assigned product categories.

• Resolving unexpected production or post-shipment challenges through negotiations with factories and suppliers.

• Traveling with the Director or independently to meet suppliers and inspect products at manufacturing sites in Vietnam and abroad.

• Ensuring imported items meet quality standards, company guidelines, and customer expectations.

• Performing additional tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.

• Proven experience in merchandising, ideally with expertise in apparel, footwear, household goods, or consumer items.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Ability to manage and track project progress effectively.

• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Willingness to travel as needed.

• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
