I. JOB SUMMARY
Be responsible for procurement of food/non-food related products from supplier and other sources while ensuring; maximum profit margins and monitoring inventory levels.
II. MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for buying various goods, maintaining lowest cost products and maintaining acceptable warehouse service level, turns and inventory levels;
Set up information and items for vendors;
Reconcile bouncers for vendors;
Establish professional customer/vendor relationship;
Research products, clarify specifications, obtain quotes, document competitive bidding, process requisitions, review credit terms and purchasing contracts, type Pox and place orders;
Provide a market condition forecast to management;
Able to conversation in English / travel abroad / use computer related programs such as Office program, internet etc;
Must be flexible, faithful and customer oriented, and project a positive attitude
III. REQUIREMENTS
Education and Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or related fields.
Knowledge of FMCG/Beverage category management, business analysis, inventory control, and margin management.
Experience
At least 2 years of experience in retail/store operations handling beverage products (water, soft drinks, RTD, coffee, etc.).
More than 3 years of experience in beverage purchasing, procurement, or category management within retail, FMCG, or distribution environments.
Proven experience working with beverage suppliers, distributors, or brand owners, including price negotiation and contract management.
Experience managing beverage inventory, demand planning, and stock rotation (including expiry control and seasonal products).
