Dat Bike is a startup in the electric vehicle sector with a mission to transition users to more environmentally friendly transportation – electric bikes. Position Summary

Own the strategy and execution of Dat Bike's nationwide retail and dealer network expansion, from national-level network planning to on-the-ground site development.

This role is responsible for determining where Dat Bike should expand, how fast the network should grow, and which locations will generate the highest sales productivity and market impact. The position leads the development of a nationwide expansion blueprint, translates business growth objectives into actionable network plans, and ensures a continuous pipeline of strategic sites to support rapid expansion.

Success in this role will be measured not only by the number of sites secured, but also by the ability to accelerate store opening timelines, improve market coverage, drive distribution expansion, and contribute directly to sales volume growth across Vietnam.

Key Responsibilities

1. National Network Planning & Expansion Strategy

  • Develop and own Dat Bike's nationwide network expansion strategy aligned with the company's long-term growth objectives.

  • Build and manage annual and long-term Network Master Plans across Vietnam, covering provinces, cities, districts, and priority trade areas.

  • Translate sales growth, market share, and distribution expansion targets into actionable network expansion plans.

  • Identify and prioritize expansion opportunities by analyzing market potential, demographics, traffic flows, vehicle ownership trends, competitive landscape, purchasing power, and existing network coverage.

  • Define network planning principles, site selection frameworks, and expansion criteria to maximize sales productivity and market penetration.

  • Continuously evaluate network performance and recommend expansion, relocation, consolidation, or optimization opportunities.

  • Partner with business leaders to ensure network development plans support the company's commercial objectives and growth strategy.

2. Site Development & Strategic Pipeline Management

  • Build and maintain a strategic pipeline of qualified sites across all priority markets.

  • Develop a systematic approach to proactively identify and secure potential locations before expansion demand arises.

  • Establish and manage a nationwide database of strategic sites aligned with approved expansion plans.

  • Build strong relationships with landlords, developers, brokers, shopping centers, property owners, and real estate partners nationwide.

  • Ensure sufficient site inventory is available to support future retail and dealer network expansion targets.

  • Maintain alternative site options within key trade areas to improve expansion flexibility and execution speed.

3. Site Identification, Evaluation & Acquisition

  • Lead the sourcing, screening, evaluation, and qualification of sites based on Dat Bike's network strategy and commercial requirements.

  • Conduct trade area analysis and evaluate locations based on visibility, accessibility, traffic volume, customer potential, competitive environment, and business viability.

  • Recommend locations that maximize sales opportunities and long-term market development.

  • Work closely with Dealer Development, Retail Operations, Business Development, and Leadership teams to prioritize site opportunities.

  • Support negotiations and commercial discussions related to site acquisition and leasing activities.

  • Ensure sites are secured within the required timelines to support aggressive expansion objectives.

4. Expansion Project Management

  • Manage the full site development lifecycle from planning, sourcing, evaluation, approval, negotiation support, and handover.

  • Monitor expansion pipeline progress and ensure alignment with annual growth plans.

  • Develop reporting tools, dashboards, and governance processes to provide visibility into expansion performance.

  • Identify bottlenecks and continuously improve processes to reduce site development and store opening lead times.

  • Ensure expansion projects are executed efficiently and according to approved timelines.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Retail Management, Economics, Urban Planning, Engineering, or related fields.

  • 3+ years of experience in Network Planning, Expansion, Site Development, Retail Development, Real Estate Development, or related functions.

  • Proven track record in planning and expanding multi-site retail, dealership, F&B, convenience store, consumer electronics, pharmacy, automotive, or service networks.

  • Experience developing expansion strategies and managing projects across multiple provinces and cities.

  • Strong understanding of location strategy, trade area analysis, network optimization, and site evaluation.

Preferred Backgrounds

Candidates from leading retail, convenience store, F&B, pharmacy, consumer electronics, automotive, dealership, or other large-scale multi-site expansion businesses are highly preferred.
