JOB REQUIREMENT FOR THE STORE PERSON SHALL:

Location: Long Thanh International Airport / Tan Son Nhat International Airport

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. The Store Person is responsible to the Line Maintenance Controller for the management of the store.

2. The store person is responsible for communicating to the LMC, TL or DE parts and tooling issues which may impact maintenance operations.

3. The store person shall cooperate with the customer’s supply department for parts movements.

DUTIES

  • Ensure all parts, components, materials and tools are accounted for and stored in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Maintain logs of segregated inventories and notify customers when reorder points have been reached.
  • Continuously monitor customer’s material, tool and equipment for condition. Ship or return repairable components when required.
  • Maintain logs for the issuance and return of parts, tools and equipment.
  • Continuously monitor company material, tools and equipment for availability and condition.
  • Arrival and Departure Kits shall be inspected at issuance and again on return.
  • Missing or damaged tools shall be reported to the Duty Engineer immediately on discovery. Ensure required tool and equipment maintenance has been properly accomplished.
  • Tag, bag and ensure all parts, components and material are protected from the environment. Monitor and control shelf life limited items and records. Expired shelf life limited items shall be quarantined pending disposition.
  • Ensure calibrated tools are maintained in serviceable condition and properly stored.
  • Calibrated tools and equipment shall be shipped to QSD approved calibration agencies.
  • Perform Receiving Inspections of all parts, material and tools, if so authorized.
  • Monitor and record environmental conditions on a daily basis.
  • Continuously monitor office material and equipment for availability and condition.
  • Maintain the quarantine locker by keeping a log of its contents and limiting access to only authorized persons.
  • Inform the OM, LMC or TL when tools, equipment, parts and material are removed from service.
  • Collect and make available Material Safety Data Sheets of hazardous materials

Other Responsibilities

Conduct an incoming inspection on parts and/or materials to be used by the SAAM Repair Station, including:

  • Performing the incoming inspection, acceptance and tagging of aircraft components and material.
  • Performing the incoming inspection and tagging for aircraft components removed from A/C or from their NHA.
  • Registering components and material data into register or computer system or other management software provided by the customer.
  • Controlling the storage and release of aircraft components and material to aircraft maintenance.
  • Performing the receiving inspection of tools and equipment
  • Other tasks assigned by DyOM of station/ Quality department.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Knowledge

  • College or Bachelor Degree in any field or equivalent. Referable for candidate with technical back ground,
  • Knowledge of store related to aviation is referable in condition:
  • Be trained in-house methods, techniques, practices for the incoming inspection for parts and material
  • Be trained and proficient in using software (if available) for the management of parts and materials.
  • Be trained in Dangerous Goods.
  • Be trained in suspected unapproved component.
  • Have 1.5 years experienced working in the area of aviation parts and materials and at least 1 year assisting in parts and materials incoming inspections.
  • Be trained or thoroughly familiar with the applicable CAAV regulations, the current
  • Having trained in human factor.
  • Be age of at least 21 years

 

Skill

  • Good at MS Offices; familiar with using Excel, Access
  • Good Speaking and writing English
  • Good interpersonal, communication skills.

Attitude:

  • Possess a can-do attitude

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 years of experience with the same position or equivalent

Personalities:

  • Willing to learn, conscientious and enthusiastic.
  • Being careful, cooperative and achievement-driven attitude
