- Responsible for grinding and mixing the test sample.

- Cut, chop, grind test samples to the required specifications and within the required time frame. Make sure the sample is prepared on time and correctly                 

- Label each sample container with the unique sample identity.            

- Keep all records and notebooks in good order including date of grinding, date of sample storage and sample storage location.             

- Support store keeper to clean the store and transfer test sample from the sample preparation room to store.      

- Ensure that the sample preparation room is kept tidy and that all equipment is switched off at the end of the day

- Perform other tasks assigned by the Team leader/Lab supervisor/Manager
