Mô tả Công việc

Position Purpose

The Procurement & Logistics Officer is responsible for (inter)national purchasing, procurement, and logistics activities. This role is crucial for VRR to ensure cost- and process efficient purchases. The person will work directly with suppliers for both direct- and indirect material or services. Together with the Procurement & Logistics team, there is the full responsibility for suppliers, purchases, ingoing logistics of materials and outgoing logistics of products.

Key Responsibilities

·         Creates and oversees purchase orders, making sure they are accurate and follow the rules.

·         Handles purchasing and negotiates prices with approved suppliers for goods and services.

·         Responsible for direct and indirect material suppliers.

·         Monitors inventory levels and restocks as needed to avoid shortages or excess.

·         Handles end-to-end logistics for both importing of materials and exporting of end-products (including administration) and communicates with external parties like customers, assembly teams, and suppliers.

·         Responsible for finding (inter)national suppliers, evaluating, selecting suppliers with the support of the Senior Procurement & Logistics Officer.

·         Tracks spending on project purchases to stay within budget limits.

·         Ensures procurement practices follow all applicable laws and organizational policies.

·         Coordinate cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, Finance and Sales to ensure timely procurement, material availability and successful execution of production and customer orders.

·         Assists in preparing supplier (pre)evaluations and agreements with the Senior Procurement & Logistics Officer.

·         Streamlines processes between suppliers and the organization for quicker delivery.

·         Keeps both internal and customer price lists for spare parts up to date (when applicable).

·         Support reporting activities related to procurement, logistics, ensuring data accuracy of cost and order management and timely submission.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant supply chain, logistics or other related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years in a similar role related role with at least procurement and preferable import logistics experience, including incoterms and common payment terms, export processing enterprise.

  • Proficient ERP system skills: Applies the skill reliably in day-to-day work; completes standard tasks independently and contributes to team effectiveness.
  • Proficient coaching skills. Supports colleagues when asked and shares knowledge to help solve problems or clarify tasks.

Languages

  • English B2 level or higher (verbal and written communication a must).
  • Chinese is a helpful, not a must.
