OPERATION MANAGER

Production Management:

• Oversee the entire production process, including injection molding, tooling, and assembly operations.
• Ensure production schedules are met and products are manufactured to the required quality standards.
• Monitor production metrics (e.g., cycle time, scrap rates, downtime) and implement corrective actions as needed.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors, technicians, and operators.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide training to enhance team skills.

Process Optimization:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower production costs.
• Utilize lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen) to streamline operations.
• Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to improve product design and manufacturability.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure compliance with quality standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma) and customer specifications.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues, working closely with the quality assurance team.
• Implement preventive measures to minimize defects and rework.

Resource Management:

• Manage inventory levels of raw materials, tools, and finished goods to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to optimize material sourcing and delivery.
• Oversee maintenance of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.

Budgeting and Cost Control:

• Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Monitor operational expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Prepare reports on operational performance and financial metrics.

Health, Safety, and Compliance:

• Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Customer and Stakeholder Relations:

• Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to meet customer expectations and delivery timelines.
• Address customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automotive; Business administration Master’s degree is preferrable.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
• 10+ years of experience in Operation Management in manufacturing company.
• Experience with Automotive manufacturing industrial know-how, materials management, and related equipment.
