Job Purpose
The Vietnam Operations Manager is accountable for manufacturing operations, quality, supply chain, EHS, quality improvement across Vietnam operations. This role is responsible for the preparation and implementation of procedures, specifications, and other written aids which are used for training and in the operation of the production lines. This role is responsible for ensuring that all production employees are trained in all areas of operations for the best possible product yields, quality standards, and efficiency results.
1. Principal Accountabilities:
- Provide end-to-end management of the Vietnam operations, including manufacturing, supply chain, quality, EHS.
- Represent Vietnam operations within the Group executive structure and contribute to regional/global strategy.
2. Manufacturing & Operational Excellence
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met with optimal quality, efficiency, safety, and cost control.
- Ensure stable and efficient operation of nonwoven production technologies (carding / stitch bond)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across productivity, yield, waste reduction, and equipment effectiveness.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable operational plans aligned with capacity and market demand.
- Ensure that EHS considerations are fully embedded into operational planning.
3. Quality Management & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure consistent compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and internal quality systems.
- Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for quality deviations and customer complaints.
- Foster a strong quality culture through robust QA systems, audits, training, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to enhance product performance and consistency.
4. Supply Chain, Procurement & Logistics
- Oversee procurement, inventory, logistics, and supplier management to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Develop strategic supplier partnerships to secure quality materials at competitive cost.
- Optimize inventory levels, warehousing, and logistics flows to reduce working capital and delivery lead times.
- Ensure supply chain resilience and risk mitigation.
