Order & Production Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Order & Production Coordinator to be based at our Vietnam factory. This role is responsible for supporting all purchase orders (POs) received from our Korea headquarters and Edelkochen Vietnam, ensuring smooth execution from order receipt to shipment.

The position focuses on order coordination, production follow-up, and communication with internal teams to ensure that all orders—both Edelkochen brand and OEM/ODM—are processed accurately and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

Order & PO Coordination

• Receive and manage all purchase orders from Korea HQ and Edelkochen Vietnam
• Review order details (product specifications, quantities, timelines) for accuracy and feasibility
• Track and manage the full order lifecycle from confirmation to shipment
• Place order for product packaging

Sample & Costing Support

• Follow up on sample requests from Korea HQ and Edelkochen Vietnam
• Create sample production plans and coordinate with Production and QA teams
• Monitor sample progress and ensure alignment with buyer requirements
• Calculate cost breakdowns and prepare pricing offers to Korea HQ and Edelkochen Vietnam

Production & Material Coordination

• Coordinate closely with production teams to ensure orders are scheduled and executed on time
• Monitor production progress and proactively report any delays or issues
• Make purchase requests for materials related to orders
• Follow up on material availability and production status
• Ensure all product requirements and specifications are clearly communicated to factory teams

Buyer Communication

• Communicate with Korea HQ and Edelkochen Vietnam regarding pricing, samples, orders, and delivery schedules
• Provide updates on order status and handle inquiries in a timely manner

Packing & Logistics

• Develop packing methods based on product and Korea HQ and Edelkochen Vietnam requirements
• Arrange and purchase packing materials
• Coordinate with logistics teams for shipment planning and delivery schedules
• Prepare and verify shipping documents (invoice, packing list, etc.)
• Ensure timely dispatch and resolve any shipment-related issues

Cross-functional Coordination & Reporting

• Work closely with Production, QA, CSR, and related departments regarding order requirements and buyer requests
• Act as a key point of contact between Korea HQ, Edelkochen Vietnam, and the factory
• Provide regular updates on order status, production progress, and potential risks
• Maintain accurate records of orders, samples, and production status

Operational Support

• Support both Edelkochen brand orders and OEM/ODM orders handled by the Korea office
• Ensure smooth internal coordination to meet customer and company requirements
• Assist in improving order processing and coordination workflows

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
• 2–5+ years of experience in order management, production coordination, or sales support
• Experience in cookware or cutlery manufacturing or factory environment preferred
• Understanding of OEM/ODM processes is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); ERP experience preferred
• Fluent in spoken and written English (Korean is a plus)
