Packaging Design & Development:
- Lead the end-to-end packaging (carton, label, Assembling instruction, carton layout …) development process from concept to mass production for new and existing products.
- Design and engineer packaging solutions that ensure product integrity and protection during transit, storage, and handling, considering various shipping methods with right cost
- Optimize packaging for efficient factory packing processes, reducing labor and material waste.
- Create detailed packaging specifications, technical drawings, and 3D models using relevant software (e.g., CAD, inventor…)
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new packaging designs.
- Develop loading patten to ensure efficiency of container loading
- Work closely with sale to identify all needed information of packaging to submit to customer as requirements
Testing, Validation and troubleshooting:
- Coordinate with lab to testing to validate designs.
- Analyze test results, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Physical validating packing after designing
- Resolve daily issues relating to technical packing issues
Cost Optimization & Sustainability:
- Continuously seek opportunities to reduce packaging costs without compromising product protection or quality.
- Drive initiatives to improve packaging sustainability through material reduction, increased recyclability, use of recycled content, and exploration of biodegradable options.
- Analyze packaging-related damages and returns, implementing improvements to minimize losses.
Team Leadership & Mentorship:
- Supervise, mentor, and provide technical guidance to packaging engineers or technicians (if applicable).
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and problem-solving within the team.
- Assist in setting team goals and objectives.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation for all packaging specifications, test reports, and approved designs.
- Prepare regular reports on packaging project status, cost savings, and sustainability
