[PHO24] Senior Accountant (Inventory & Costing)

1. Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, including purchases, transfers, and adjustments.
• Oversee physical inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies between physical counts and system data.
• Ensure proper valuation of inventory, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.

2. Cost Analysis:

• Perform detailed cost analysis, identifying cost drivers, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction.
• Review and analyze production costs, including material, labor, and overhead costs, ensuring accurate COGS reporting.
• Collaborate with production and procurement teams to review costing methodologies and update standard costs.
• Prepare monthly COGS reports, highlighting key trends, issues, and recommendations for management.

3. Others:

• Track and allocate long-term prepaid expenses (e.g.,tax, rent, insurance, maintenance contracts)
• Ad- hoc tasks as requested by the Chief Accountant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2-3 years of experience in general accounting, inventory or costing positions.
• Proven experience in F&B industry is a plus.
• Hard-working and good communication with other departments.
• Strong MS Excel skills and accounting system (Odoo).
• Willing to adapt and learn, good stakeholder management skills
